Together for a Cleaner, Greener Kallithea
At 🌐Elysium Resort & Spa and Rodos Palladium Leisure & Wellness, caring for our destination goes far beyond offering memorable holidays. As neighbours of the iconic 🌐Kallithea Springs, we feel a deep responsibility to help preserve the natural beauty that makes this part of Rhodes so special.
Recently, the teams of both hotels once again joined forces for a voluntary clean-up of Kallithea Park, demonstrating our shared commitment to protecting our local environment. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all our colleagues who participated with such enthusiasm and dedication. Their teamwork and genuine care for our island make a real difference.
This is far from a one-off initiative. Throughout the year, our hotels regularly organise and support environmental activities because sustainability is part of our everyday philosophy. Living and operating next to Kallithea Springs, we strive to be responsible stewards of this unique area, preserving it for both our local community and future generations of visitors.
Our commitment also extends behind the scenes. While many of our sustainability practices may not be immediately visible to our guests, they play an important role in reducing our environmental footprint. These include comprehensive recycling programmes, responsible water and energy management, reducing single-use plastics wherever possible, and continuously seeking more sustainable ways to operate.
Implementing green initiatives on an island comes with its own challenges, but we remain committed to making meaningful progress. Our environmental certifications—including the 🔗Green Key award for both hotels and 🔗Travelife certification for Elysium Resort & Spa—reflect our ongoing efforts and dedication to sustainable hospitality.
Every small action contributes to a greater impact. Together with our employees, guests, partners, and local community, we will continue working towards a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable Rhodes.
